Terms of Use

By accessing or using EverythingYouPost.com ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use this platform.

• You must be 18 years or older to post content on this platform.
• You are solely responsible for the accuracy of any information you post.
• You agree not to post false, misleading, defamatory, or harmful content.
• You agree not to use this platform for illegal activities of any kind.
• We reserve the right to remove any pin or content without prior notice.
• We reserve the right to ban any user IP from the platform at our discretion.
• These terms may be updated at any time. Continued use implies acceptance.

Privacy Policy

We take your privacy seriously. This policy explains exactly what data we collect, how we use it, and how we protect it.

• IP Address: Automatically collected on visit. Used to identify your pins, prevent spam, and enforce bans. Never displayed publicly. Stored as a one-way hash.
• Email Address: Only when you voluntarily provide it while posting a pin or sending a contact message. Stored with AES-256 encryption. Never displayed publicly.
• Location: Only the coordinates you place on the map. Your GPS coordinates are used only on your device to show nearby pins — we do not continuously track your location.
• Pin Content: Title, description, subcategory, tags, and phone number that you submit. Displayed publicly as part of your pin.
• Ratings and Reports: Linked to your IP hash for deduplication purposes.
• Analytics: Pin view counts, search categories used. No personally identifiable information linked to analytics.

• OpenStreetMap / CartoDB: Map tiles. Subject to their privacy policy.
• Esri / ArcGIS: Satellite map tiles. Subject to Esri's privacy policy.
• Nominatim: Reverse geocoding for country code detection only.
• Razorpay: Payment processing (when boost feature launches). We never store card details.
• Titan Email: Email delivery via GoDaddy Titan. Subject to their privacy policy.

Data Collection & Security

All data transmitted to and from EverythingYouPost.com is encrypted using HTTPS/TLS. Our database is hosted on a private VPS and is not publicly accessible.

• Email Encryption: All email addresses are encrypted with AES-256-CBC before being stored in the database. They cannot be read even if the database is compromised.
• IP Hashing: IP addresses are stored as SHA-256 hashes. The original IP cannot be recovered from the hash.
• No Password Storage: We have no user accounts, therefore no passwords are ever stored.
• Rate Limiting: All API endpoints are rate-limited to prevent abuse and spam attacks.
• Firewall: Our server has UFW and Fail2Ban configured to block malicious access attempts.
• Data Retention: Pin content is stored indefinitely for analytics, but pins are only visible on the map during their active window. Contact requests are stored encrypted. You may request deletion of your data by emailing us.

Content Policy

Users are entirely responsible for the content they post. The following content is strictly prohibited:

Pins receiving 3 or more community reports are automatically hidden pending review. We reserve the right to remove any content and ban any user without notice or explanation.

Disclaimer of Liability

• We are not liable for any loss, damage, injury, or harm resulting from use of information posted on this platform.
• We are not liable for any transactions, agreements, or interactions between users that originate from pins on this platform.
• We do not verify the identity of any poster. Always exercise caution when meeting strangers.
• We are not responsible for the accuracy of prices, availability, or any claims made in pins.
• Emergency pins (missing persons, accidents, alerts) are user-reported. Always contact official emergency services directly.
• The platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
• We are not responsible for any downtime, data loss, or service interruptions.

By using this platform, you acknowledge that you use it entirely at your own risk.

Pin Rules & Expiry

• Pin Duration: Pins are active on the map for a duration determined by their category (default 24 hours). This can be changed by administrators. After expiry, pins are no longer visible on the map.
• Data Storage: All pin data is stored in our database indefinitely for analytics and administrative purposes, even after the pin is no longer visible on the map.
• Pin Location: Your current GPS location is used as the pin location at the time of posting. Location cannot be changed after posting.
• Multiple Pins: Multiple people can post pins at the same location. All valid pins will appear on the map.
• One Pin Per Post: Each submission creates one pin. Do not post duplicate pins for the same listing.
• Re-Posting: You may re-post after your pin expires if the information is still valid.
• Boosted Pins: Boosted pins appear highlighted on the map for the paid duration. Boost does not extend the base pin expiry.

Contact & Email Policy

• All contact between users is routed through our platform email system. Poster email addresses are never exposed to the public or to other users.
• When you send a contact message, the poster receives it from our platform email with your reply-to address only.
• We log all contact requests for spam prevention. Contact requests are rate-limited to 3 per IP per hour.
• We do not read the content of contact messages beyond automated spam filtering.
• We are not responsible for the outcome of any communication between users.
• Do not use the contact system to send spam, harassment, or unsolicited commercial messages.

Boost & Payments Policy

The Boost feature is currently in development and not yet active. When launched, the following terms will apply:

• Boost payments are processed by Razorpay. We do not store payment card details.
• Boost duration options will include: 30 minutes, 1 hour, 6 hours, 12 hours, and 24 hours.
• Boost pricing varies by category — from ₹1/hour to ₹100/hour (or $0.01 to $1/hour).
• Boost is non-refundable once activated.
• Boost does not guarantee any specific number of views or responses.
• Boosted pins that violate content policy will be removed without refund.
• We reserve the right to change boost pricing at any time.

Intellectual Property

• The EverythingYouPost.com name, logo, tagline "Pin with Purpose, Built for Everyone", and all platform design and code are the intellectual property of EverythingYouPost.
• You may not reproduce, copy, or distribute any part of this platform without written permission.
• By posting content on this platform, you grant EverythingYouPost a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display, store, and process that content for the purpose of operating the platform.
• Map data is © OpenStreetMap contributors. Satellite imagery © Esri, Maxar, Earthstar Geographics.
• If you believe content on this platform infringes your rights, contact us at buildforyou@everythingyoupost.com with a detailed takedown request.

Jurisdiction & Governing Law

EverythingYouPost.com is operated as a global platform. These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.

For users outside India, you agree that by using this platform you accept these terms regardless of your local jurisdiction, to the extent permitted by law.

We comply with applicable data protection laws. If you are in the European Union, you have additional rights under GDPR. Contact us to exercise those rights.
